- When you are ready to contact Iomega® for technical support they will ask that you please be at your computer and to provide the following:
- Please be sitting at your computer when calling the technical support center. This is imperative if we are to effectively troubleshoot your Iomega product.
- A work or home telephone number.
- A previous service call or case number (if you have called before).
- Note: Previous service call or case numbers are assigned at the end of a technical support session. This assigned case number enables the tech to better assist you in the future with any individual needs and concerns.
- Your first and last name is needed to properly log the call.
- Is your Iomega product for a business or personal?
- The type and model of the Iomega product installed on your computer system
- (Example: Zip® 100 - external parallel port).
- The type and model of your computer.
- The computer's operating system.
- If you received an error message or messages know the exact error message you received.
- A description of any ongoing symptoms, any hardware additions, or recent software installations that may have effected the performance of your Iomega product.
